    Dr David Fernández Puyana is a legal scholar representing in Geneva the intergovernmental organization UN University for Peace (UPEACE). He served as adviser at the UNESCO Liaison Office in Geneva. He advises the Foundation Peace without Borders. He is co-founder of the UNESCO Chair on Peace, Solidarity and Intercultural Dialogue at the University Abat Oliba CEU. He is part of the Editorial Board of “Peace Human Rights Governance” of the Padova University (Italy). He contributed to the opening of UPEACE to the Arab world through the signature of cooperation agreements with the Diplomatic Academies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Azerbaijan and the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as, Georgia and Armenia.
